About the Society

India's solar energy society

SESI, established in 1978 with its Secretariat in New Delhi, is the Indian Section of the International Solar Energy Society.

We promote the extensive and effective use of solar energy for a sustainable future. The Society is interdisciplinary, drawing together leading energy researchers, manufacturers of renewable energy systems, programme implementers, academics and students.

High academic attainments are not a prerequisite. Any person engaged in the research, development or utilisation of renewable energy, or in allied fields, is welcome to join.
